Social Media Trends 2013-14

It was a busy year for the social media industry. In 2013, we saw the teen demographic leave Facebook for other networks that better capture their attention and don’t yet have the entire family engaged.

Google rolled out a number of updates that will make the social network more user-friendly for 2014, including improved local sharing, a better way to share visual content and other new features to improve curation. An update to the social network now allows Google+ users to send and receive emails from other Google+ connections even if they have never exchanged email addresses.

I assume that you are using a smm tool to engage on the different social networks, what are you thoughts on the inability to easily add G+ to your existing tool? For me it makes G+ a bit of a pain to use, it isn't in my regular routine...
